The machine uses IRL time so yeah you can't skip the card processing.

Just be on the lookout for your total value on your machine. Especially if you get one roll that have a total value of 50k or 100k.

Protip, you can always fill the machine at the start of the day as the machine will keep processing the cards while the time is frozen at 8 am.
